I thought I'd mention that I've put a couple of YYPH jackets up for sale on Ebay. I'm still experimenting and getting used to Yohji's sizing and proportions, and despite really liking both jackets (especially the second one), and trying to make them work, the sizes are just not right for me. The first one is too small, and the other is just too big. (Note that in the title I accidentally described the first jacket as S/S 99, when in fact it is A/W 1989. I'll correct this later today.)

Need to comment on this particular picture of yours mr shah.

1. You reside within some very tranquil surroundings. #envy

2. Your ( or someone else's ) camera and photographic skills are brilliant. #jealousy

3. Your outfit screamed effortless and textbook Yohji, the shoulders, sleeves and pants are imo perfect ( anti-fit ) fit; the dark knit adding contrast, the shirt poking out underneath ( I am a tuck-shirt-in person, but never tuck Tees in, yes I'm weird ) echoing the white ( off white...er battered white ) sneakers. #Runway

So I ain't gonna do a " thumbs up " in that little box under your post. Not enough words allowed there.

PS. noticed you X-posted this on SZ. You, Wire and Ivwri like to occasionally gatecrash their CCP/BBS/Guidi/AnnD/MMM/RO/LUC/CD/Obscur goth ninja party :)

oh wow thank you for such flattering remarks ! indeed the land of woods provides a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. i took the photos on the nex5 (sup Ivwri!) with some manual focus lenses that are pretty decent no leica or anything hehe just focus on a spot and set the timer and go !

that last photo was sorta post-inspiration for the fit i guess, you can see some shades of blue with the bright reflection of sunlight poking out underneath and the hint of off-white /beige ferns lining the bridge. or maybe i've over-thought everything laugh.gif

admittedly i like to splash some color in there once in a while, much to their horror i assume tongue.gif

That looks great ivwri. I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law, I hope he gets well soon!

I'd better not let my wife see your SS12 vest! Great stuff! I'm gonna do a fit in due course wearing my wife's Y's leather brogues, seriously we have the same shoe size.

I managed to get her ZERO Runway item from the SS sale in Japan...... all the good stuff were gone within 2 days.

Iwvri, you turn unusual garment choices in amazing looks.

ps: how many baller sandals do you own?  They really integrate perfectly in your fits.

Looks great Ivwri. I hope your father in law gets well soon.

On an unrelated note I remember someone mentioned using fromjapan for yahoo japan auctions. Is it OK to use? I ask because you have to deposit money beforehand and I was a little unsure about that. Probably shouldn't have been as I missed a really good deal on boots last night, sigh.

I've never used them but I'm pretty sure all proxies make you pay at least a portion before they bid

I've switched over to fromjapan for awhile now, they're definitely legit.
