Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread) - Page 230

I think it looks great on you shah! I think its a keeper.

CS coat came in. Needed something that would not break the bank and would keep me warm. It's actually much nicer and a LOT thicker than expected. COZY = BIG SMILE smile.gif

Had taken my shoes off by the time it occurred to me to take an FP so I just threw sandals on.

Great fits and acquisitions everyone.icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
By the way, Mr. Ivwri and Mr. David I don't recall seeing the conclusion to your top 5 pieces.devil.gif

Haha long time no see! I've not forgotten actually. Just waiting for the right moment, well my joint number 2 is a SS piece, highly inappropriate for our UK weather right now. And I can't post number 1 before number 2 can I ? All in due course, but in the meantime I will still show my lesser pieces to the harsh critics.

all ss12 except pants which are coming soon.

I've been on look-out for some low-profile derbies which might be better than trainers here.

edit: better pic (i think)

Parker, didn't know you have another SS12 blazer, it's Look 46?
yeah, that's the one. ^ has a double lapel detail on one side. lightweight wool gab and unlined. good for my climate. :-)

YYPH jacket; uniqlo scarf, gloves, cardigan, and tshirt; silent pants; docs
per some advice I sagged those silent pants and rolled them and I think they look better now (I'm happy enough with them to wear them until I get some Yohji wool trousers, anyway devil.gif)
docs question: how long is the breaking in period on average? these fit fine in the toes and generally size wise, but theres some stiffness around where the laces meet the toebox that is pressing down on my foot.
(ps- sorry for the cigarettes in my fit pics, but its chilly and if i'm already outside i don't necessarily wanna head out again right after shog[1].gif)

I like this but the pants take away from it I think. They look better than before, but I still feel like you're wearing them too high on your waist which creates weird pulling. It makes your thighs appear bigger than (I assume) they actually are, and adds a weird emphasis to your lower body. I don't really think you necessarily should wear them even lower, but wear different pants. Silent cotton is really nothing special and the way you're wearing those is pretty pedestrian, so you could probably get away with a different brand (which you could probably find for cheaper anyway). You could even buy some plain loose, straight leg pants and just taper them. Also, I think one less roll on the cuff would be better. Otherwise, well done.

preferably AW, but I'm not picky. I have some great SS gabardine trousers that I just wear leggings under on cold days

thanks in advance

I agree. I've learned my lesson on Silent quality, Shah... but I'm still gonna keep them and wear them until I find some of those wide-to-tapered YYPH black wool gab in my size. I think they'll be good beaters for summer too since the cloth's so thin.
