Cool shoes, Ivwri. They remind me of the old canvas ZigZags surfers would wear in LA back in the day... but a much nicer version. With the low profile, I imagine they'd look good with the billowing spring/summer pants, too.

Just won this CS jacket. I think it will go well with the linen pants esp after i dye them a darker black. Now i just need some heavy cotton loose button downs and a bunch of uniqlo heat tech to wear under neath and ill be ready to hit the winter y style icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

ivwri, your fits are consistently some of the best in this thread. Also, the marvielab shoes are nice, but the price is a joke...

If I could be so bold as to suggest something that I think would improve the fit...perhaps a t shirt that was a linen blend so that it has this sort of effect



I think that would look even better. 10 to 11. smile.gif

Same shape and cut as what you are wearing but more of that sort of linen-y material (idk what that effect is called)

I was lookin back at SS 09, some really gorgeous pieces! Also made me think on how much my sense of beauty has changed smile.gif

I think when i picked that floral shirt i was subconsiously aproximating this fit:

Sell your " street " wardobe to fund your Yohji craving. Quit WAYWT thread and come onboard here, ppl here are much nicer.....

That Y! has been on for months, it ain't gonna go quickly. It was 35k yen at first so it's coming down gradually. And it's your size smile.gif

Hi guys amazing thread my first post on this site.

 

 I have decided to take the plunge and purchase my first Yohji garment, I am going to buy some trousers probably from Rakuten unless something pops up on ebay.  

 

I wasn't too familiar with Yohji before finding this thread but have really come to appreciate he's aesthetic and after watching interviews and reading up on him have been blown away. Currently waiting for "My Dear Bomb" to arrive from Amazon will hopefully get here Monday. So thank you for introducing me!!! 

 

I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the general direction of something "noob" friendly preferably tapered through the leg.  

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the thread! Rakuten is a really good choice as it is a lot easier to navigate than y!. They are bound to have something.
