Only thing I have that I would consider nice is flatware and severeal sets of plates. I kind of getinto moods where I just want to buy one thing and in this case it was plate sets.

Rest of my kitchen is BedBathand Beyond crap. Have not reached baller status yet. Give me a few more years dammit!

yes, but I've found that warming in the oven produces superior results.

I rarely use a microwave. They are mostly a waste of space but occasionally nice to have. I could definitely live without one. I use them for things like defrosting a lb of ground beef on the rare occasion I use frozen ground beef (for things like making tacos) from the freezer. These days I tend not to store stuff like that. I just buy it when I need it, as I don't eat it that often, so I use a microwave even less than in the past. I'd say I use it less than once per month.
