if its off ebay the probability it is fake is quite high. if its priced to go to be true you can almost count on it being fake.

you can also send the pic to the gucci group to confirm ... although they make a ton of shit so it may take a while but at the very least they will be able to give you a couple markers to authenticate.

gucci stuff is faked all the time. you have to be very careful. always buy from an authorized retailer and you wont need to worry.

yup, or you can do what uc does and look at it and if it looks cheap or even has a hint of low quality materials its fake.

the lining on the inside of the jacket looks weird (see if you can find that pattern in another piece) but the zipper is correct so i dont know.

"See if you can find" the Gucci monogram on another piece? You can't be serious.

i was talking about the pattern on the inside lining of the jacket. yes, i was serious.

how do you guys know its real? cause it says so?

nobody said it's real

gucci puts that pattern on literally hundreds of their pieces and most fake gucci pieces also use that pattern so it's not really a good indicator

yeah, you're right. i just thought the pattern on the inside looks weird. but i dont own a lot of gucci and the pieces i do have are not the high-end pieces so it might be okay. last time i was in a gucci boutique the leathers range from $3K - $6k so if you are going to spend that kind of money i would verify before you buy.

here are some rather generic rules found on-line. unless someone has that exact jacket and can verify, the best way to authenticate is through gucci.

*Study the logo on the item. An actual Gucci product has a distinctly shaped "G," while a logo on a knock-off product may look more like "Eucci" at first glance. A logo that is poorly stitched, worn or faded may also indicate a fake product.

*Check over the material colors. A fake Gucci product may be faded or dingy in color when compared to a real Gucci item.

*Look at dusk jackets on purses. Dusk jackets covering Gucci handbags are heavy and well made. Fake purses have thin or poorly sewn dust jackets.

*Look at the tags on the item for spelling and grammar errors. Be sure to check the inside of purses and clothing items for tags and labels. Check the inside of both shoes.

*Check where the item was manufactured. A real Gucci item should have a tag indicating the product was made in Italy unless the item is a watch. Look for a mark indicating the watch was made in Switzerland to verify the authenticity of the item.

*Contact Gucci's Customer Assistance at the official website. Gucci will answer specific questions about official products and markings.
