Chalk Stripe Suit

Hi, long-time reader, first-time poster.  I'm looking for an athletic/slim fitting navy or charcoal chalk stripe suit in the $300-700 range.  I'm in Boston if that helps.  Any tips or ideas?

Saks has a navy flannel Hickey Freeman chalk stripe on the sale rack. It is one of the more modern cuts (Beacon?) -- side vents, flat front trousers, narrower shoulders with almost zero padding. I think it is $700 right now.
