Watch fitting issue

Thread Starter

I bought a watch a couple months ago and my wrist is pretty much inbetween links. What i mean is that if i take another link off its too small, but if i leave it as is, it fits but slides too much on my wrist.

Do they make something that i could possibly put on the inside of the watch or possibly thinner links that i could swap out with? I know its a pretty general question and i'm not sure if this is the right forum but i can't find anything online.

Thanks for the help!

Then why did you buy it if it did not fit? Or dare one ask if this is some online bargain that has not worked out?

I would suggest you try to sell it and start again - but this time go to a bricks and mortar shop.

There is no work round that has ever been described here and if searching on the Internet has not produced anything then I think that you are reduced to repenting at leisure for your stupidity in trusting to the Internet without any recourse.

I do not know what kind of watch you purchased, but some of the nicer brands have half-links that they will sell you.

Most watch bracelets have micro-adjustments at the clasp, usually 2~3 positions. Some bracelets also have a couple of half links in the bracelet so that you can remove either full links or half links to find your optimum size between the links and the micro-adjustments. There are of course some bracelets without either. In that case, you either have to live with the watch being loose on your wrist or swap out the bracelet for a strap.
