Shoes for Casual School Wear - What to Buy Next?

Hey y'all. I'm new here. Thank for taking the time to view my thread. I'm a 16 year old high school student from New York, and I'm finally starting to pay attention to how I dress. I'm very happy I found this website; I'll learn a lot from it. I've been wearing these three pairs of shoes on a rotating basis. I'm willing to scrap the wingtips and the slip-ons.

My spending limit on a pair of shoes falls within the 150-200 range. Is what I have okay? I definitely feel like I need a new pair of oxfords. These are extremely low quality. If you were in my position, what would you buy?

Leather conditioner and shoe polish. What war did you fight those boots in?

The boots, "Gares" by Aldo, are sold in a rough, tattered state. I have conditioner and polish. Guess I'll apply some to them.

On the current BB sale you can get some nice Crocket and Jones (branded Peal and Co) wingtips or captoes for under $300. I would go with a pair or two of those in BROWN.

wow... Am I the only one that sees something wrong with a 16 yr old high schooler wearing these? Its not a problem you want to dress better but I think you need some fashion sneakers at least. I went to a public HS in NY and never saw someone with these.

I've got like 15 pairs of sneakers.

Thanks CYstyle. I knew I needed a pair or two. I'll probably buy sand and gray.

I think I'm going to settle for the dark brown and beeswax Clark's Desert Boots.

If you want rough boots, why not have a look at Red Wing GT or Wolverine 100 miles?
