Go to a spa and have them put together a gift basket with bath salts, candles, lotions, etc. If you don't know what scent she likes, you can never go wrong with lavender.

To bounce of Ambulance Chaser, do a spa day together, come home, cook her dinner, have some nice wine, and then do what Piob recommended.

After one month, there's no reason to buy her anything big. And the holidays are about spending time together instead of giving money in the form of boxes anyway.
