Shopping in Las Vegas after Christmas

Taking the family to Vegas on 12/26 for a few days. What are the best places to shop for nice shirts, shoes, suits? Are the high end stores set up for high rollers who are splurging after a big win? Are the prices generally higher there than other US cities? Do they have after Christmas sales?

Any help would be appreciated

All the stores inside the casinos are super-overpriced. The Fashion Show mall located on the north end of the strip has fairly decent mall prices. Im sure they'll have after-christmas sales like any other mall would...

good luck

Prices aren't generally higher than anywhere else in the country. As stated, the Fashion Show mall is your best bet for mall-brand status and up (Saks, Neiman, etc). If you're an Outlet Shopper, further north off the I-15 @ Charleston is a decent outlet mall with varied selection. Because of its proximity to the strip, it usually has decent runoff of decent things.

Also worth checking out is the City Center complex (last check there was a B&M Tom Ford). Caesar's Forum Shops are fun for the ambiance, but it's mostly just your usual brands - although there are some designers in there.

Best of luck.

I may add the shops at the Venetian and Palazzo. Ralph Lauren, Canali, Barneys, etc. Prices are up accordingly.

Is this the one near Fremont? It had some decent outlets. If I recall, Etro, Ferragamo, D&G, Burberry, and some others. I would say the prices are not necessarily extroadinary though, more like a good sale.

^ yes is near Freemont street, a few (very rough area) blocks away.

Designer sales started around Thanksgiving there just like everyplace else.
We were there before Thanksgiving and just about every store we walked into the SAs were offering to put stuff aside for pre-sale.
Things should be well into 2nd markdowns by now.

There's Ralph Lauren and Barney's in Venetian/Palazzo.
NM, Saks, Nordstrom in Fashion Show Mall across from Wynn.
Countless designer shops in Wynn, Bellagio, Crystals/City Center (by Aria), Caesar's Forum shop.

There is no where to buy decent shoes in Las Vegas. NM might have a few pairs.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the advice. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully will get to use my winnings to get a new wardrobe.

Paul Smith might start their 50% off sale around then.

For those interested, got here today and headed to Crystal mall for lunch and to look around. Lots of high end boutiques, with very few items on sale. Not many people in the shops and even fewer carrying bags. It was a pass for me. Will head over to Fashion to take a look tomorrow.
