The sufu thread was really enlightening. I'm even more interested in a trip to SF now.

Revolver says they're going to open an online shop at the end of January. I can only hope.

FIrst fitting was tonight. They're damn near perfect. I'm super stoked. I'm surprised no one has posted fit pics yet.

^ would love to see fit pics. I have a pair of chinos that fit me amazingly well. Would love to get a pair of denim that fits similarly.

Curious: what are the chinos that fit amazingly well? RRL contest or something else?

BTW, this thread has me hooked on Jack/Knife Denim too. Liking the western-cut pockets, among other details. I'll have to find time to head to SF for a fitting.

Great to hear they're planning women's as well. I have more than one female friend dying for well fitting jeans who don't want super skinny/low rise.

I'm leaning towards cuffing, what you think?

I wanted something a bit more conservative that I could wear to the office, hence the higher waist. I'm super happy with the result. Usually jeans that fit my waist are small in the ass and thigh. This are perfect. John and Nick were great to work with. They clearly love denim and what they're doing. My second pair is already planned out smile.gif

+1 for cuff. I iron my cuffs so it stays down nice and neat

Went to Jack Knife today for my fitting. Here are the fit pics without a waist band. Based upon the fit, which was awesome, I will have regular belt loops and a cinch below the waist band. These jaens are based upon the measurements of my 1947 LVC 501XX.

Note that I am holding the waist closed with my hand and there is no waistband at this stage.
