high protein, high veggies.
limit high calorie foods like carbs.
some fat is good as it helps blunt hunger and it'll reduce cravings.
if you work out drink or eat some carbs after workout.
maintain caloric deficit

i dunno. i would just say fuck strict paleo on go beans, whey, casein, eggs if i was vegetarian.
i agree with what you're saying, for the most part, but
1) carbs are a macro, not a food
2) theyre no higher in calories/gram than protein, and less than half that of fat.
lose the fat. it's hard to have visible abs when they're covered up.
