the US site is pretty ghetto. These oxfords do run a bit long through

Ribkin, pretty sure that's not a button down. And uniqlo button downs aren't half bad actually.

If you can get UNIQLO that's the best option for around $50. I'm usually willing to go for a bit more though and like both having MTM and supporting a fellow forumite so I get Kent Wang's shirts. I like to think that the money saved at the tailor's is worth it, as I usually have to get the sleeves adjusted and the shirt darted anyway.

i just wanna add that notwithit is posing for a camera and is lacking anything remotely associated with "swag"

he doesn't look bad or uncomfortable in his clothes. his second fit looks better than the first, but he definately doesn't have swag.

this. but i think it is also in respect to availability.
people not in NY really are handicapped. only until they start rolling out more stores through the US

For pants/trousers I like H&M. Always fits me well and is cheap as hell, good for doing whatever the fuck, comes in a ton of colours/fabrics, and when you get tired of them turn them into fuckin shorts for the summer.

h&m stores always seem dirty to me the rare times i go in there.

everything is a mess. in terms of trousers (dress pants) i think uniqlo are much better.

i would never shell out the extra $$ to take h&m clothes to be tailored.

Yes, uniqlo is better but uniqlo is only an option for one region. If you proxy it'd be probably the same as having H&M tailored, what with shipping and fees and everything. Anyways, their stuff fits me well enough off the rack that I'm ok with it. At least H&M you can try stuff on (for people who don't live near a uniqlo), but overall I agree that Uniqlo is a better choice.
