No Kop Klub - January 2012

If you are like me, than this crazy sale season has been both a complement to your wardrobe, and a detriment to your wallet. This is the support thread for everyone who wants to prevent from spending money for the entire month of January.

Post here to have others convince you not to purchase something, and to get talked out of it. I need a break from buying items, in fact, I need to purge most of my wardrobe to let others get use from the clothes I don't even wear anymore.

Who is with me?

that's debateable. w/ january being an awesome month for sales, why not postpone your spending fast?

Was about to start one...count me in on this.

Was going to add..."sign up by 5th of Jan. to have $100 'emergency fund'" Anyone after said date are not allotted an emergency fund.

Seen it before, perhaps we can enact that here too or the like.

I told myself no purchases in December and so far I've gotten an EG shirt and two pair of EG pants (shirt and 1 pair of pants off Ebay for $50 each and the other pair $79 from Barney's sale...deals too good to pass up). But no matter the deals...I need to stop, so I'm in for January.

i dunno why you would postpone spending during sale period, and then resume when new season stuff comes and you can't kop mad deals.

Well I'm planning on not copping for more than just January but I'll move month by month. I bought enough already. I don't really need anything else

^yeah, the last thing I need right now is more FW clothing (even if it is cheap), I have more than enough at this point. I need to wait for SS because I do need a few things for the warmer weather and already have a couple of buys picked out once they hit the stores.

I'm not buying anything until spring.
