Levi's red tab

So I just bought a pair of Levi's 501s and notice the little circled R on the back red tab where is says levis is upside down.  Was just wondering if this was some kind of factory fluke or if this is common.

Holy shit, sounds like you found the 1889 mine shaft jeans, worth about $120,000. Put on ebay.
