Seriously. He could have capped ACHTMED in the dome and prevented a nuclear attack. Bastard.

I'm having trouble buying the same guy who played Kumar in that stupid movie as being this cold hearted terrorist... plus... doesn't he usually play an Indian character?

The bigger problem I had was that he was supposed to be playing a 15 or 16 year old, yet appears to be in his mid-twenties.

OH wow. That "All you Israelis" line came from a ridiculous movie called Suckers about car salesmen. I just downloaded the first 10 minutes of this 24, and the bald terrorist in the van is the exact same actor in Suckers to whom that particular insult was directed! It's a small world edit: ok maybe not, but they sure look alike

O my god... 24 shouldn't try to be dramatic by writing parts where people are expected to act. Jack's little episode after shooting Curtis was so bad...

Also, this type of music with either the throat singing or woman singing in foreign language is so played out now. I think Gladiator started it. Now whenever there's a moment of intense sadness or shock, every score writer puts it in.

I'm finding this season is getting to be unwatchable.

I'm starting to feel that way, as well. I know it's fiction and isn't necessarily always realistic, but the idea that, on the day the U.S. has suffered a nuclear attack, the White House Chief of Staff would try to force the NSA to resign, the NSA would actually resign, and the President would permit this to occur without a detailed explanation, strains the boundaries of credibility, even for a show like this.

I think I'll stick around to see what James Cromwell brings to the table (other than the nagging question of how a man so tall could have sons so short). He is a very solid actor.

Being a big fan of 24, I have to say this season is totally underwhelming. It doesn't have the twists, tension and cliffhangers that made the previous 5 seasons so much fun to watch.

Glad I'm not the only one recognizing how most of this season has been devoted to pushing plots than any actual action.

I watched a season premiere of 24, [i don't know if we're up to the same series as you guys in america] and was bored by half way. How can a show with 4-5 things happening at the same time be boring? I'm not sure, but the only redeeming point was the fact that the nuclear bomb actually did explode.
