Much, much better than the previous site but somewhat poor attention to detail. Missing pictures, pictures that don't load, clicking on zoomed picture doesn't open full size picture, custom scrollbars cause scroll behavior to differ from native (slower, not as smooth), doesn't remember selected checkboxes when going back to collections.

I can't get it. devil.gif I'm in the UK and whenever I click C&J.com, I get directed to C&J.co.uk which is the old, boring site.

But I can live in hope: It states "New website coming soon".

In addition, they list not a single U.S. store.

Very swish! They have outgunned Tricker's whose new website looks like it was designed by a monkey.

Hmmn, not sure about the shoes undergoing a 'scrutinised check' (see "In the Making" video). The last pair of C&J I bought was faulty and the replacement pair was even worse. Both pairs had long deep cut marks in the leather close to the welt (possibly where they'd cut off the protective plastic covering). I sent them back and my postage costs were refunded in full. I was offered 20% off if I kept the second pair. Rushing them out now.

Despite the f*** ups, C&J make some of the best best mid/top-end English shoes you can buy.

Well personally after recent VASS purchases i definitely won't buy again any CJ shoes.. I like the style but the construction/leather quality is nothing to do with VASS. At the price side VASS is a little bit more expensive but it comes with lasted shoe trees which is very nice to have, if you add this cost to CJ you end up with similar prices.. The choice is simple.
