several months ago
i was introduced to teh
owner of 'passagio cravatte'
another maker of bespoke ties
who specialises in 'brighter'
prints and wovens with a 'vintage feel'

i initially ordered a grenadine
and a soft italian cashmere regimental
however there was a problem -
the cashmere was made up
in an unlined 7 fold....
.. and the fabric was not suited
for such a construction - it tended
to open up.
so it is now being remade
as a 4 fold unlined.

the owner also had a few
vintage silks and wools
which i subsequently ordered
and received.

which only has the wool interlining

construction is all very well done
except for the initial cashmere
i ordered.

I'm not a fan of unlined constructions really, but some of those fabrics are delicious. The middle two especially.

I don't know why I started to think about my wife . . .
Seriously, though, nice ties T4.

Confirming suspicions that you must be physically aroused by clothing in order to get into the inner circle. I will never look at seven folds the same way again.

T4 - I'd love to see that cashmere in person - it looks very unique.

So, at the blade it has 7 fold, but the middle has like... 10 folds? I am losing count here.
