Hello People,
I have a large collection of shirts, and some of my favorites have collars and cuffs that are fraying badly. They need to be replaced, with white being my only option. I also have another issue. I have a handful of shirts that I picked up in the UK, and the neck on the shirt, the band which connects shirt to collar, is at least a quarter of an inch, or larger, to tall, making them very uncomfortable to wear. I am not sure, but I hope someone out their would help me find a shirt maker in New York City who could help me fix at least one of these problems for a reasonable price. I have checked out the SHIRT STORE by the flag ship Brooks Brothers; they can replace cuffs for $30 and collars for $40. They are at the top of my list, but does anyone have other suggestions?

My garment care facility offers this service.

You ship your shirts to us through our Nationwide Clean By Mail service. We replace the collars and cuffs with white collars and cuffs (your choice of barrel or french cuffs), launder and hand press them at no additional cost, and then ship them back to you anywhere in the USA, Canada or Mexico. They arrive ready to wear.

For further details and pricing.......
