I used to buy most of my sweaters from BR before I found SF. I don't know if their quality has goine down recently, but I have 7 or 8 year old sweaters from them that just won't die. I haven't had any issues with quality with their merino wool ones. Their cotton/wool blends did not last though so stay away from those. I'm a size 44 and their large fits me well. I don't buy them any more because they are a pretty good value and everyone wears them and I HATE showing up somewhere in the same sweater as somone else.

I have a really thick cashmere sweater from them, but it is at least seven years old and I have not seen anything like that there in a long time. I also have a BR monogram cashmere sweater that is about three years old, still looks good, and got me a complement two days ago when I wore it to work.

I am tall and thin and find the ones I got last year fit quite well. Mine were cut surprisingly trim. Also, the quality on both the merino and the silk/cashmere/cotton has been quite high for me so far. The 7 I got were a mix of those two types plus 1 monogram, which has a different feel but doesn't seem different in shape or quality.

+1 on all of this. There's a guy @my job with good style. The first nice day of spring we both wore the same color aqua blue shirts. Of course mine was a linen lorenzini, but I digress...

I'm surprised the monogram isn't just wool/silk. I don't think I've noticed a fine gauge cashmere at BR.

Im pretty hard on sweaters....so i dont like to spend a lot on one. I used to pick them up for under 30 bucks all the time...great price, and ive always been happy with them.

I like the look and feel, but I find the more recent ones are really low quality. I'm not too rough on them at all, but mine already has several pulls and a hole. Lesson learned for me.

theyre okay. if you like the cut, styling, quality, price, then kudos.

This.

I saw that Jos A Bank has theirs on sale for $29 currently. They're nothing special, but what merino v-neck sweaters are? If I get two seasons use of them, I'm happy. They're a bit generously cut, so I'd try on before buying.

I have not purchased anything there in two years besides boxer briefs. But I have heard others complain about the degredation in quality.

Gap inc is currently experiencing some financial difficulties and it probably shows through in their products.

what do you define as fat?

everything at BR is ridiculously slim

To be or not to be, that is the question.

What is SF, this is a question that we all ask ourselves each and every day. Still trying to figure this out.
