I got a few and they look and feel pretty nice. The Merino wool, I think, is pretty good and might start wearing them with my high-end luxery dress shirts. What is your thoughts on them?

Just blue and grey. They feel nice.

I tried the mustard one. It would have gone well with my grey gingham button down and a wool tie.

Navy.blue or royal blue?

Navy.

Pretty safe choices... What are you wearing them with? I find it hard to pull off the chunky ones at work.

They aren't really chunky for me. Look lean on me. I wear just a t-shirt underneath. But when going somewhere fancier, I'll wear a Brioni dress shirt.

Brioni is always welcome to a party!

Sometimes I like to show a little cuff when I wear a sweater and dress shirt.

I'd say $20. This summer they had a bunch on sale in the SF main store and it was $35 take 40% off or something like that.

Anyone know how much they are right now?

sweaters are one of the few things that I still buy from BR

I got 7 the day after Christmas last year for about $160.

The colors are nice, but there are two problems with them:

- They're cut for fat people. Sizing down might help, but I'm not so sure. I picked up mediums, and they fit in the chest OK, but I could stuff a watermelon in the waist area.

- The quality is poor. I have two that are about 3 months old, and they're already pilling on the forearms.

I also tried the nearly identical sweaters from Gap. They're a bit thinner, but they seem to cost about half as much.

I'd say they're OK if you pay under $50 for them, and don't expect them to last more than a season or two.
