I'm really still a bit too much all over the place. Having thrifted so many fun things, I rarely repeat anything over a two week span (not including outerwear). I swear that sometimes I get as big a kick out of wearing some of my better fitting no name sc's as I do wearing my navy 3 roll 2 Loro Piana BB blazer.

I think I will need for my true style to emerge and mature before I will be able to define essentials. You've given me a target to shoot for, in the meanwhile.

7. Blue with navy pindots wool socks

Probably because it has been done several times before, but what the hell, I'll bite. In no particular order:

1) Blue Blazer - the one I am wearing the most is BB patch pocket, three button.
2) Brown Herringbone Tweed Jacket. Mine is Polo (Made in Italy - Corneliani, I think).
3) Grey Flannel Suit - Again my go to is BB Fitzgerald.
4) Blue and White Striped OCBD - BB
5) White Spread color shirt - BB Slim fit
6) Rep Striped ties - Atkinson for Sid Mashburn
7) APC New Standard jeans
8) Levis 514 five pocket cords.
9) Jackets are a tie - Filson Mackinaw Cruiser (Winter) Barbour Beaufort Jacket (Spring and Fall)
10) Longwing Gunboats - Florsheim Imperial vintage brown pebble

There is more I would want to list., but it I had to strip it down, and forgetting things like snow storms and nor'easters, this is what I would likely gravitate towards.

-Blue Blazer (bespoke)
-Brown Houndstooth SC (bespoke)
-Mid Grey Flannels (bespoke)
-Alden Ultimate Jumpers #8 (LS)
-APC New Standard
-Cigar Shell NST (Shoemart)
-Navy Cashmere VNeck (JCrew)
-Navy Fisherman Sweater (Herning)
-Epaulet Rivet Chinos Khaki (Epaulet)
-Indigo 50oz silk tie (Epaulet)

I'd probably include in this my grey cashmere cardigan sweater (BR), grey merino v-neck (Jcrew), and a brown dress and brown casual belt (CK and Epaulet) as well. But if I had to have only 10 clothing items in my wardrobe, these would be them.

I think an "If you could only have 25" question would be cool too, but I guess that says a lot about how I dress....

**edit, jeez I didn't include shirts (one white spread collar one blue chambray spread collar)
