Fycus and Tororo are right on all points. I sized down and it's a touch too tight in the shoulders. The material is pretty standard cotton/poly and not worth the ~$500 price tag imo. Here's a pic of mine showing fit. For reference, I normally take a S/M in EG shirting and I'm about 5"11:

As for the polka dot shorts (I'm assuming you're talking about the cinch ones?): they fit really small. I had to size up on them and they're still slimmer than I'd like. I'll probably be putting them up on the B&S soon, but interested parties can PM me with reasonable offers (never worn outside, BNWT). *Edit* - Size 32

I say save your money and prepare to be blown away by EG F/W12, which looks amazing.

The FW lookbook usually gets posted online around late June/early July, so pics should be coming up soon.

I saw something on their blog saying they are showcasing a sneak preview of the FW collection at Nepenthes I think sometime in June.

It fits normal in the shoulders and chest, but then it kind of balloons out into this anti-fit kind of look. There are drawstrings to pull it together, but doing so also doesn't look right. It is a bit too short (I'm 6.1) as well, and therefore looked really awkward on me. Sizing down wouldn't work length-wise. Think of it more like an eccentric Daiki take on the Parka than a functional, classic Parka cut. I was very disappointed, given that back in the day I got into EG for their Parkas alone, and own about 5 different ones now. They all are great, but this season's one is a dud, at least for taller guys.

I tried this season Parka as well, not a fan, I have 3 from past seasons, I like those style better. I am 5'9" and wider, it balloons out at bottom and it doesn't look good. I prefer the older season parkas. The anti-fit look never works on me as my body type is already anti-fit. smile.gif

yeah i mentioned this as well a few pages back

i had the 28/xs from last year's olive fatigue shorts but this year getting the 28s in polka were ridiculously tight and made me look like i was wearing tight little boys shorts

returned to nepenthes for size 30 and they fit great

Jack Straw started its summer sale last week and there are a few L-XL sizes left in their EG buy, along with 32-36's in several of the trousers.

Did you use the arrow@arrowandarrow.com address? Lauren's always been fast to respond to my emails in the past, maybe she's taking time off. There is always the phone.
