I'm really feeling the landsdowne jacket, but don't know which one to get! I'm leaning towards the one on stevenalan's site. Let me know if any of you guys have handled these. And is the one on stevanalan the same as the one on odin? they are different right because the pictures are making them look quite different. Thanks

I have The Lansdown you're enquiring about. Its different because of the lighting. The colour and material are the same its a light weight indigo denim. The picture on Odin's website is true to what you'll see when you buy/receive it.

Here's a better picture:

MAC: Cotton items/ natural fibers only, probably the worst buy of the bunch. I think this is ridiculous, as EG as a brand uses a heavy amount of synthetics which tend to be much preferred to me as opposed to wrinkly shrinking prone fabrics. Paisley shirts, bedfords, scarves and i think an andover blazer but as far as I know no real outerwear. Nice guys over the phone though, I'd probably have to check it out in person to decide.
Bastille: Only small and medium, average buy. They have the angler shirt which is one of the few pieces I wanted, but alas only in smaller sizes. They also have that nice hooded vest pictured above, cordlane bedfords, and a lotta shirts and pants. The store staff was receptive to any ideas or suggestions for a better EG buy. I strongly suggested getting large, hopefully something will come of it.
Bloomingdales: Best sizing runs (s-l), best buy of the group. Talked with various staff there when I came in and they were all super helpful and willing to source items or hit up nepenthes for more stock. I'm not 100% but I think some of the items had small markups from EG retail. Kinda disappointing considering Nepenthes does free ship no tax outside of NYC. Crazy story, so I guess Angelo from EG came in with his girlfriend yesterday maybe 30 min before I was in the store. I would've for sure picked up something if I could shoot the shit with him for a bit, kinda bummed.
Polka Dotted baker in blue and white- Really, really nice. A little on the thin side for $450 and even with 20% off was a little too much in my mind but the shape and everything was great
Linen bedford in dark blue- Pretty decent, but the fabric was fairly uncomfortable (ie not soft, felt like a poly blend). I know linen is better in heat but this would be pretty uncomfortable with a t-shirt on underneath
Cotton jersey bedford in light grey- Piece looked awesome, but the fit was pretty unflattering. I have a pretty defined v-shape torso, and there was something about it that made it look extremely cheap on me. The drape was pretty poor and the look was pretty unspectacular, but for some reason there is a ton of charm with a sweatshirt jersey blazer and I would probably still pick one up given the opportunity.
Shooting Jacket in Khaki Oxford- Very cool jacket. Faux suede was nice, I appreciate that the jacket can still be machine washed. Fit was actually extremely disappointing. Very short in the body. I wear a large in everything EG, and tried this on in a large. It cut like at my belt, almost too short at 6'2". I wanted to try an XL to see how the fit varied but feel like the pattern was a little off on this model. Would benefit from a little length. The khaki was nice, but I think I would've preferred something darker.
Cordlane bomber- Nice, but for like $400 and being completely unlined there are some nicer options out there. I know the white buttons add to part of the EG spring vibe this season, but I would've much preferred dark navy or horn colored buttons to go with the cordlane stuff.
Shawl Collar fairisle vest I think thats what I saw, don't remember too much as I was mainly looking for outerwear. The fairisle jersey knit stuff this season is very soft to the touch and the pattern is great.
Polka Dot club collared shirt Great shirt, nice thin fabric.
Peacock shorts- Very cool in person, didn't try any of the shirts or shorts on as I only like EG outerwear but the cut was nice, longer inseam with a slimmer leg.
Various plaid shirts- Again, wasn't looking for shirts so i didn't notice anything in particular that stood out to me, but the selection was decent.
Overall, a good buy. I will keep my eye on the polka-dotted bedford and the linen bedford assuming they hit sales. I think bloomies friends and family 20% off is still going on for another day or two, which is a good way to get some EG on discount before sale season.

Picked up the Blue Oxford Polka Dot 19th Century BD Shirt from MAC, which I believe only has an XL left. They sold out real fast of this one. Usually find one or two things each season from these guys, but the FWK pickup at MAC tends to be better than the men's. Cotton/natural fibers tend to be the norm with EG vs. the synthetics. The natural wrinkliness and aging of the fabrics are desired. They do use nylon mixed with wool in the F/W season to keep the shape a little bit, since some of those wools are pretty loose.

Bloomie's: The Polka Dot Baker is nice and light. Fairisle vest is about $168 if you want EG for less than $200 (make sure you don't have a gut though because it really shows with this), peacock shorts are interesting good if you can pull it off (I believe MAC had this in the shorts, pants, jacket and scarf), and the cordlane is a surprisingly much nicer and more significant fabric than the seersuckers they've used previously.

Im 6ft and a rather slim build my shoulders are kinda wide too. In saying all that I went for a small and it fit perfectly. Don't be mislead by some of the cmments about the sizing for SS12 their true to size as always, the bulk o the material they use is what makes the garment 'appear' smaller than before. I'd stay true to size. The Lansdown has a slight taper to it as well. Really beautiful jacket. Something to behold really.

Not 100% sure, but I believe Jack Straw in Seattle had that when I was last in a month ago.
