so can anyone actually tell me whether or not they're messed up? The waterproofing was not silicon based, which I imagine is good.

Waterproofing leather shoes? Interesting. Never heard of that. I've done it for my fabric hiking shoes, but don't really understand why anyone would even think of waterproofing leather, let alone cordovan shoes. Regardless, post pics.

I'm so anal, I don't even let the street shoe shiners touch my shoes. There are hundreds of them in Santiago, but by the looks of everyone's shoes, they aren't doing a good job. Then again, how good can one get shitty ass CG shoes to look? Like putting lipstick on a pig.
