Slim shirts with longer sleeves

I'm a very slim guy but tall with long arms. Most small "slim" shirts fit me perfectly in the chest, but the arms are to short. Medium "slim" shirts have long enough arms but are to roomy in the chest. Sometimes I can find "super slim" shirts and get a medium, which can work out but are hard to find.

I've tried Banana Republic, J Crew, H&M, Brook Brothers, Zara, and Express. The latter 2 seem to fit me closest. Anyone know of a brand that might have the fit I'm looking for?

Try Brooks Brothers extra slim fit in proper sizes like 16/35 rather than S/M/L, etc. I think SF member Steve Smith is purveying some on B&S at very good prices.

Eton slim fit shirts will have an extremely long stock sleeve length. The M body (15.5/15.75) shirt, in body style 15, is cut with a 36.5" sleeve. A little pricier than the aforementioned brands, but good shirts.

+1. I wear 15/36, and find the BB extra slim-fit to fit me well for a ready-to-wear shirt.

I technically just tried the slim at BB, but it was the largest on me of any I've mentioned and wore like a large from other stores but with the shortest sleeves. The extra slim would have to be a huge difference.

Those Eton shirts look amazing! But wow they are expensive. Over $200 is about double my budget for a shirt.

It is indeed a huge difference between BB's slim and extra slim-fit. I swim in the slim, but the extra slim fits me significantly better.

After looking for similar shirts for years, and spending a small fortune on Brooks Brothers MTM shirts at $162 a pop, I finally found Charles Tyrwhitt. They sell slim fit shirts with a 15.5" neck and up to 37" sleeves. For a small up-charge, they'll shorten the sleeve lengths in 1/2" increments. Don't buy at their regular price; they have frequent "sales". Right now, their shirts start at $39 and a number of their shirts that "regularly" sell for $159 are going for $69.

I also find BB "slim-fit" shirts fit me like a tent. Haven't bothered to try their extra slim-fit, though I probably should give them a shot.

Endorsing Charles Tyrwhitt. Great slim-fitting shirts, a bit thin on the fabric but no complaints for the price. Slim-fit is definitely the realm of Europe. Gant Rugger is the only American designer I find fits me.

FWIW I'm 5'10" and 65.5kgs with monkey arms, and I didn't find true shirt happiness until I went online MTM (Modern Tailor). Took a few shirts to get the measurements just right but it was totally worth it. Sure you can mess around with Tyrwhitt or whatever, but it's hard to beat a shirt that's been made just for you.

I know how you feel... I'm 6"8 250lbs with a 39" sleeve length... for low end stuff express is perfect.. the extra slim express shirts, not the main line  stuff has the right sleeve length and is slim enough in the body to work... high end stuff that fits me pretty decent is Armani.. I tried on a couple of the dress shirts from Armani at Bloomingdales and it was perfect... and that's hard for me with my monkey arms...

Have to agree. As a more "portly" person I had probelms finding clothing that fit until I went to the online MTM route. My first were good but after tweaking the measuremenst a little the next order fit perfectly. I now have a great suit being made
