What do you guys think about something like this?  I like the idea of a herringbone blazer look like below.  Is that a good or bad though?  Any suggestions for a different way to go?

I know someone is going to ask: this is straight off the Zara website.

I was considering a sweater like one of these two as well:

I don't know about you guys, but whenever there's alcohol involved, I prefer to keep the nice clothes closeted.

Do you have a Ducati in the living room, too?

Nice clothes + alcohol = panty dropping

Most of us don't wear panties like you do, however.

I used to wear them, but they are all in wads and bunches on the floor.

I'm going with a midnight blue suit, solid black (regular) tie, white shirt, french cuffs with links. Tan cashmere overcoat if it's cold.

and yes, I will be enjoying an adult beverage while wearing tailored clothing.

Yeah, but if it's "enjoying an adult beverage..." it's a little different...

I'm assuming there will be none of this snork[1].gif

Are we all gonna post pics of our outfits?

NYE could be one of the rare chances to get suited up in my dinner jacker if the moths haven't got there first. Going to get tickets today for the party, there will be about 10 to 15% of the men in black tie but if I don't bother then another year will have gone by and the next chance might not be till 31 Dec 2012.
