W. Bill in NYC

I am wondering if anyone might know of a shop in Manhattan that carries most if not all of the W. Bill books. I was thinking Chipp or Paul Stuart. Thanks in advance.

Miller's Oath has quite a few W. Bill books. Otherwise, Isles Textiles out in Long Island is the W. Bill distributor.

Thanks. There's a Lamlana cloth that would be perfect for a fall blazer, and that book is not found in every tailor's shop. The Donegal, Superfleece, and Shetland books are ubiquitous, but there are those other, not frequently seen books. At least when I ask my tailor, he responds that he is clueless and will call Isles Textiles. How are they to work with?

As an aside, didn't W. Bill once offer a tropical/panama book? Probably Smith's cloth but I think recall correctly that the book was W. Bill.

They're great. Call and ask for Kristine.

Isles Textiles is about a 40 minute drive outside of Manhattan, depending on the traffic. Stan is a nice guy. The first time I went to see what they had. The other times I ordered on the phone. For patterns I prefer to see a big a swatch as I can get so I prefer to see the book. It would be even better to see the entire length but you have to go to London for that. For solids, I make do with swatches.

I think Smith's bought W. Bill. In any case Isles distributes both.
