I don't like it. Guess I am used to seeing lower button stance or whatever it's called when the lapels are that short of length.

Reminds me of a cheap suit you'd see a limo driver wear.

I think it looks pretty bad because of the lapels and the lower quarters. The shoulders aren't bad.

I like the fit and style but wish he did not limit himself to one suit (or identical suits), blue three button seems to be his only choice.

Eh? The length of the lapel and the button stance determine each other, I don't see how you can lower the button stance without also lengthening the lapel. It looks perfectly normal in both respects anyway - it's a pretty standard 3-button, he just hasn't done up the top button.

Personally I think the shoulders could be a touch narrower, but overall it appears to fit very well.

The suit fits him well, but the lapel are really ugly

In fact, the suit is too 'skin head' for him, also the buttons are too high

Overall, it passes as a CBD but not a good one

Not a fan of the breast pocket either

I like it, though the pic makes it look like one sleeve is longer than the other. There are things I would do differently, but I think it looks good on him. Gives the lanky William a suitable bearing for a future king.

Many of the elements go against prevailing SF groupthink -- strong shoulders, moderate gorge height, relatively high roll -- but I'd like to see more of this sort of thing. There's room for both A&S and Huntsman, as it were.

Truth be told, this is more my speed than the NSM stuff currently en vogue, though that's not meant to slight the NSM stuff. Just personal taste.

I love how the gorge and the collar points are the same height. That's my ideal.

It fits him very well, but there are a few styling details that I would do differently. But whatevs, the fit is nearly perfect.

Yep, it's a well fitting suit, it's just not a suit I'd ever buy.

Typical SF ignorance and mindless group think. Just because it isn't some pear-shaped suit with exaggerated Neapolitan characteristics doesn't make it bad.

This is what happens when everything one knows about clothing has been learned on SF.

Is it modern? No
But I guess 10-20 years from now we will look at this suit and it will still b ok. Again, it won't b modern or trendy.
What I mean is SF may not like some if the styling, though it's pretty classic, but the fit prom this pic is flawless
My $0.02

It is fairly classic and not to my taste so far as lapels and button stance are concerned. That is for his decision not anyone here. It fits - or at least the coat does for the trousers cannot be seen.

We will doubtless think it OK in 20 years time when still it is in use.

William's greater problem is that he either seems to have only one suit or else several virtually identical. That is odd.
