Navy belt for navy shoes.

I also wear my navy belt with these sneakers as the savy stripe and basic colors work well:

I dont own navy dress shoes. Not so interested in owning a pair either

"Dress shoes"? You mean shoes.

No, that belt will not work with brown shoes. How about some navy driving loafers?

i want to be a bit dressier than driving loafers

That is a casual belt and should not be worn with brown shoes and a suit.

Sneakers that I posted above or other casual shoes with blue in them. If you don't like that answer, you may want to get rid of the belt.

Rarely do I "match" my belt with my shoes. I don't think thats so important at all. Frankly, I don't even own a black leather dress belt. I use a grey lizard skin when I do black shoes most of the time.

Hmm. I own a blue harness leather belt, a nice object. I have worn it exactly zero times because it doesn't go with anything. Maybe faded black shoes and jeans? Any enlightenment welcome.

dye it black

here is a quick short iroh's guide how to do it:

get some acetone, use is to strip the coating off the leather, get some leather dye, paint it on with a paintbrush, get the leather sealer, paint it on with a paintbrush, done!

don't ask me how i know the above.

Spoo, most people here would agree with me that you have the style to pull off stuff that would make most of us look foolish. The OP does not have that confidence or he would have not asked the question.

I have a navy belt that I picked up cheap on a BB sale that works well with my navy driving shoes or the sneakers posted above. Besides that, is is not exactly versatile.

I think navy and tan go very nicely together. tan is orange and they're contrasting colours, and as a result, are pleasing to see when placed side by side. I dont think Patek is being fair.

That crashing sound you heard in the distance was Manton keeling over from a heart attack.

Adding on to his suggestions, maybe you could check out color matching here:

When i went for my first art class, my teacher presented all of use with a color wheel and it really helps setting the foundation for picking very safe colors to match :)
