I've always been a little obsessed with cover art. I love looking at book covers and movie covers. One sight that always makes me happy to look at is a whole shelf of Criterion Collection movies. They have some of the best cover art out there, and I always wish I had a library of Criterion movies just to look at.

I just happened to pass this book the other day and it stuck with me. funny take on graves's "The Greek Myths":

Robert Grave's translation of The Golden Ass is really awesome, but anything in comix form is almost always superior.

Also: the soundtrack is killer. I just don't even know what to say.

I just watched the whole thing, what a fantastic movie!

Been thinking about Wes Anderson a lot lately, so I figured I'd post this for anyone wanting to reflect on some OG Schwartzman.

"Originally titled Nub City, this follow-up to Gates of Heaven was initially focused on residents of the Southern town who cut off their own limbs as a way to collect insurance money."
