I'm looking for a 100% heavy merino wool crew-neck. Something that has the same feel as the smooth, itch-free, thin ones they sell everywhere, but just much thicker. Any suggestions?

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

I'm not sure where you are located, but if you have a chance to drop in a BB store, check some of these out, I have a couple of the argyle half zips from last year, made in China but very heavy and nice quality for the price.

Not sure why they moved these to the hunting section exclusively, but it's a nice sweater. Unfortunately, they no longer offer the burgundy one.

Check out Sierra Trading Post for the Peregrine by J.G. Glover Merino sweater. They only have it in navy, charcoal, and ecru, but it's a great sweater. Fairly soft, really thick and chunky, and made in England. I am a ~40L and the size M fits nicely.
It's $80, but using my link will give you $10 off.

Will do, I have a felted merino from them that I like a lot and is a perfect weight, but it pills terribly. Product of the "felting" I guess.

Perfect if it did not have the commando patches.

I bought a peregrine "Merino" shawl collar cardigan from STP last year that was not merino, but "New" wool instead. Not a bad sweater, but very wooly, loose knit and basically the antithesis of what I associate with merino.Originally Posted by unclesam099

J. Press has some fairly thick ones.
They're very solidly put together.
They are also on sale at the moment, so prices are quite reasonable.
