Yes,
me study this and many with high arch get more big feet when older,
but flat feet can get big foot to

Also, they're not soft rubber soles that promote flattening of the foot. IMO.
some barefoot running may also be beneficial. As well as just running in general - fatties get fatty feet.
yes yes,
many many thing make big foot.
Link is very simple and not always right.
Some man get big foot,
other man not get big foot
Fat man get big foot many time,
sometime very very big foot
thin man get big foot to.
See many factors and every man different.
Some man have flat foot and pronation and big foot but he do theraphy and get arch natural back and fit better in compact shoe,
it true,
but it take exercise and build foot strength.
Many many thing cause big foot,
arch support can be good and help big foot.
Many flat food get big foot because man still have small arch.
Many many man who not look after feet and not have good inside support get big foot.
Big foot is very very bad

In general, feet do lengthen as we get older. Often, all other things being equal, this will be accompanied by a narrowing of the foot. Of course, gaining weight as most of us do as we age will tend to balance that.
But feet break down (just as the rest of the body does)...ligaments and tendons stretch and the accumulated years of carrying weight cause bones structure to collapse somewhat. It is not unusual to be wearing a full size (or more) longer in late middle age than when you were in your 20's or 30's.

yes.

Buying a shoe that is even half a size too short can set the foot up for fallen metatarsal arches and other problems that may not become evident until years later.
yes

Buying shoes that are half a size too long can stretch the ligaments and shift bone alignments, as the first metatarsal head tries to move further forward than nature designed.
that interesting.

A case could even be made that buying shoes that do not fit precisely accelerates the breakdown of the foot.
yes

many people not no what good fit is.
to no good fit with no bespoke experience is a artform,
it take much experience and take many years.
Many man wear shoe to small and shoe to big and have injured feet,
he not have artform with fit.
Fit is hard bacause a man foot is different in morning and night and is different on different days.
Does a shoe ever fit a man?

My ten and twenty year old shoes still fit. Of course, I have absolutely no recollection how they fit when they were new.

Do you recall the story in which RSS rediscovers some of his old pre-Glasgow Cleverlys? They were too small.

But then, he's a runner so there you are.
