100% Vicuna wool

Thread Starter

I have a bolt of 100% vicuna.  My uncle lived in Peru in the 50's and 60's and was an exporter.  He sent this wool to my mother in the late 50's but she never did anything with it and it has been in a cedar chest ever since.  It is in excellent condition and measures 115" by 60". It has 100% vicuna by Marangani Ouzco woven into the selvage.

Give me a break Spoo, you know the OTR codpieces fit you just fine. I have seen you ducking out of Cod-Pieces-R-US with a bag under your arm.

If you will not admit this truth, I challange ye to a duel.

Would you take $60 shipped to Canada, as a gift?

dont know the price on that today but. 55 years ago when i was an apprentice, i looked lovingly at some vicuna priced at $125.00 per yard.
alas i could never afford it and still cant. you have 3 meters there, enough for an overcoat.

I would definitely have an overcoat made. It will be a fantastic item of clothing with a great story behind it.
