Nice loafers bwp. I have always preferred the full strap look to the beef roll look.

A bit on the pointy side, but I still like them.

This is actually a picture of my daughter from around 1985. She wanted to emulate daddy polishing his shoes/boots, so I gave an old pair of my combat boots to play with. When she was a little older I actually taught her how to polish a shoe.
She is all grown up now with kids of her own. And, perhaps someday papaglen will teach them how to polish their shoes. Man do I feel old right now.

My 5 yr old daughter *helps* me as well. She gets her own horsehair brush and an old pair of shoes (or her own boots). However, it's a full time job trying to keep her hands and my brush out of any open tin/jar of polish.

I'll have to get a picture of her doing her shoes as well. This picture is when she *helped* me stuff giveaway bags that I was supplying for a charity event. The bags were each supposed to get a pair of these sweat bands with my company's name.

Your shoes have a nice healthy polished glow to them Everett. How do you avoid water damage due to where you are located?

Cute kid. Watch out, they grow up really fast.

I had to travel internationally a fair amount in my 20's and 30's and wish I had been able to spend more time at home watching her grow up.

You must be using some great leather conditioner.

I just tell people I'm 35, but I've had a really hard life.

Although it rains a lot here, I don't do all that much walking outside, especially when it's raining.  That said, when they do get wet, I am always very careful to wipe them as soon as possible.

That said - I am the second owner of these shoes - they did not look this nice a month ago.  I am relatively proud of the transformation.

Hot in that Italian "fashion forward" way aka pointy.

I would have guessed AE (sorry I couldn't resist). They do seem out of character for you.

Thanks for the love on the monks.
