Enjoy mate. I have never owned a pair of boots like that in my life, but they look so good on others. I will make my first start with a pair of Chukka boots from C&J Chiltern. See how I feel and look before going straight to the top :D

Chukka is a great way to start. I've owned over 5 pairs of them and eventually transitioned to blutcher boots and ultimately bal boots. I've since sold all but one pair of chukkas as I prefer the look of a higher boot

That's my thought. Since all this is very new to me, going small and maybe grow my knowledge in time and learn more about boots, since i'm really starting to love it on others (why not me?)

For sure. You just have to own it. I imagine I have ankle armor on me. Makes my stride feel a little more assertive

VK Nagrani I believe, bought them in Seattle. I find his socks to be very well made and long lasting.
