So my father keeps telling me my new suit is too small, which I disagree with, I'm just looking for feedback regarding fit and choice in shirt/tie.

I will be more helpful if you post a front and rear full body shot when the jacket is button up

Regarding the shirt and tie, It looks ok but might be a little bit matchy matchy

Is the shirt made with silk? it seems very shiny

There's an app for that

The shirt is just cotton, maybe it's the flash making it look weird? I had to photoshop the hell out of it to get the color close to real life. I don't have one of the back, but there's no ripples and it lays flat against my back.

Another one of the front, I have a christmas party on friday at Gibson's in Chicago so I want to look extra good. I'm just playing around with shirt and tie combinations until then, maybe white shirt pink and grey tie? Oh, and the sleeves on the jacket aren't that short just fidgeting around before taking the picture.

Do you have any pics where you aren't striking a pose? It creates all sorts of creases and pulls that may not be there otherwise and makes it very hard to tell if it fits through the body.

Shoulders look okay though.

Right sleeve looks a bit short. Otherwise hard to tell. Stand naturally with arms at side.

All jokes aside, it doesn't look horrible. Suit sleeves look a tad bit short, but I guess it could be because of fidgeting.

Generally you jacket should fall around your thumb, "rule of thumb". it looks like its pretty close.

Only thing I would recommend is to probably be less uptight and more in the spirit of the holiday season. Tartans, Plaids, Reds and Greens etc... Although none of that would really fit with the suit you are wearing. First and Third looks best so far.

You really have not taken the trouble to establish the best views if you want opinions on fit. These look like various poses. The only thing which it is possible to suggest is that the sleeves are too short.

I think the suit looks actually pretty good, get the side taken in. How is the trouser?

Also do you intend to have sleeves that short?

The whole thing is short, get a long if that is a regular.

I just exchanged it for a regular from a long, it was gigantic compared to this. I hope these are satisfactory, the shoulder seem to have some padding in them, I think if I had this removed it would drape much better. I appreciate all the feedback even if it is less than complementary. Now I just need some ideas for shirts and ties to go with the suit!

I don't yet have a great eye for the cut of a suit. The sleeves do look a bit short to me. I'd use a pocket square to add a bit of color to that outfit.
