Just did my first in-store pickup for somebody today, from first email to purchase and bringing it home it was about 16 hours; pic to celebrate:

actually, on the contrary - if you can get it directly, I encourage you to; proxying is just a free time hobby for me, it's definitely not paying the bills, lol. We can do online and yahoo cops all day, I can do in-store pickups in the daytime, but I am doing this so I can get out and go to the stores, check out stuff, and it's not 100% for clothes - the strength of the service is to get you obscure stuff from Japan, like cookware, car and bike parts that may be vintage and out of make, obscure clothes rather than new clothes, etc. Mrs TOJ and I know about a lot of this stuff, so we are here to spread this stuff out around the world to people who will be happy to get it. People in Japan often treat it as junk, I see it as treasure and I know a lot of people are looking for it and it will complete something, somehow.

12 years ago I was a Japanese car nut and I dreamed of coming to Japan one day, used to buy the most obscure stuff for my car from Japan online back then, finally came over to visit a couple years later, it was a big deal. That was how it all started....

Quality, well, whatever floats your boat - they're quite good, but the limited drops produce some really interesting pieces now and then. The North Face has a collabo with Nanamica right now for a khaki single breasted mac coat in Gore-tex, it's a touch under 60,000Y - really nice price for what it is. Collabos and limited drops are just part of life here, there are some good ones, and then there are some amazing ones that everyone regrets not copping, a lot you will never hear about. Even McDonald's here changes their burgers every 10 days. A couple weeks ago they had a K-BBQ burger and now it's a cream croquette burger, will change next week. It's fast moving and most of this stuff is not going online.

I will try to update this thread with that stuff regularly - opened this as a thread in SW+D for that purpose, actually. The floor is open for questions and I'll be posting back with some pics as I find things, and I might be able to stock a limited selection of choice goods as well, as time goes on. I'm hoping for this to be a flexible experiment.

I'm also down to be a 'fixer' if people are planning on a Tokyo vacation and want to dial in a week's worth of good restaurant reservations, or even a planned itinerary of things to do if you're short on time to plan for yourself, etc. I can do all of that if there's enough lead time.

they're 22,859Y shipped to the USA, all fees in. That one is a Large, and I'll post the p2p and sleeve and body lengths on it for a baseline and then we can talk about other sizes in case you're not a Large. They also have a dark speckled fabric with contrast rib that looks very W+H'ish but nicer obviously, it's a really nice hoody too. I'd guess it's the same price.

This LW is really the nicest hoody I've ever seen in my life, I'm wearing a W+H right now and it seems so shitty in comparison. I weighed out the LW on my scale and it weighs about 800g's, so about 2lbs for this 100% cotton hoody. That's pretty serious.
