Is anyone else interested in the following:

Style: Vass Old English semi brogue cap toe!
Upper: Snuff suede
Last: Thinking Olfe or perhaps the new chiseled last!
Sole: Single or dubble leather
Lining: browinsh to match rest of shoe
Eyelets: 5
And as always initials on the sole and text window are available aswell!
If we get 6 orders or more for the same model there will be no MTO-fee!

Who's in? PM me!

Like it! However I would like to see first, how the new chiseled last looks like.

I might be interested in an olfe. I am lacking a light suede shoe and wasn't sure which way to go biggrin.gif. Snuff suede is much darker than the one in the picture though isn't it?

Maybe I can sell mine when they come in and get on this one smile.gif

This suede will be worlds better than the classica line sude.

Classic like is split suede (split leather + some backing for structural support)

this MTO is likely

reverse calf. (up to twice as thick. All one piece of leather)

Didnt they have a LM snuff suede pretty similar to that?

They did when I went to the trunk show.

They have had LM suede shoes in the past and likely will in the future(just a guess).

But for the last few months they have not have had any high quality suede offerings (reverse calf)

Of course up to  you. I have no problems with my meermins and the finishing is very good.

Thx for the reply.

I'm very new to the MTO process. Where/who did you contact for GMTO Carmina's? Would love to see what they offer as well.

Also, how do your Meermin shoes fit you - what shoe/last/size did you go with?

Gentlemen, we have word from Pepe on the austerity brogue MTO. We are going with brown museum calf and the choice of either New Rey or Olfe last. I will PM you all individually, to see if you are still in. If anyone wants to join please PM me ASAP.

I'm looking to lock down my size on the Olfe last. My reference point would be the 5-last from Allen Edmonds.

Juxtaposing both last, which one is wider and longer? I will need this info for an MTO program.

About 270€ with shipping. 50% is due on order and last half when shoes are rests which is about 2-3 months. Metal toe caps are available at an additional cost of 10€ or 15€. If you're interested please PM me as we want to get this going by the end of the week. Thanks !

I usually use gentlemen's footware, but there is a large variety of retailers offering that service.

Also I just went with a 6UK in the ama and it fit well. If you're EE probably no Meermin shoe will fit you well without placing a special order.

The good news is a lot of retailers order simpler shoes all the time from Carmina and will prob let you order an MTO size on top of their standard order.

Personally I hope this is the case, I would love to see more LM suede offerings. Especially in an unlined snuff loafer or non tassel tie loafer.

my .02 anyway.
