Meermin Mallorca Shoes - Page 630

I'm not an expert but Olfe fit seems standard to me.  Doesn't feel small, large, narrow, or wide.

Some photos of well worn double monks

About a year and half old, used mainly as bar / club beaters

After a bit of saphir

I have to say...they have held up quite well. Did you have any issues at all with the shoes after 1.5 yrs?

I am looking at getting the tan longwing bluchers. I was wondering if the Rui last typically runs true to size, slightly big, or small. I go back and forth between US 9.5 to US 10 in most of my shoes. On the Allen Edmonds sizing guide I am somewhere between 9.5E US and 10D US. So I keep going back and forth between getting the 9UK or 8.5UK on the Meermin longwing bluchers. Any help on how the Rui last runs would be greatly appreciated or any advice between the 9UK and 8.5UK. Thanks in advance!

Slight sole split but no problems outside of that. And sole split is aesthetic only anyways.

Seriously nobody makes a better shoe for $200

I could be wrong, but they very much look like burgundy shell on my screen.

I'm brewing another GMTO!
Is anyone else interested in the following:

Style: Vass Old English semi brogue cap toe!
Upper: Snuff suede
Last: Thinking Olfe or perhaps the new chiseled last!
Sole: Single or dubble leather
Lining: browinsh to match rest of shoe
Eyelets: 5
And as always initials on the sole and text window are available aswell!
If we get 6 orders or more for the same model there will be no MTO-fee!

Who's in? PM me!

That is the lighting.  I have three pairs of cordovan shoes and direct sunlight brings out undertones in all of them.  For dark brown cordovan, it brings out a #8 like undertone for a mahogony color.  They are simple dark brown indoors.

Indoor fluorescent lighting

If I didn't just order their Classic suede shoe then I would be all over this as this was the model I wanted instead of the Hiro last.

Maybe I can sell mine when they come in and get on this one smile.gif

I just posted about this a few posts back. I'm generally a 10.5D in AEs and a 10D in Alden's Barrie. I found the 9.5UK Rui I ordered to be large. It was much more voluminous than I expected. A 9UK would be perfect. I'm a 9.5UK in the Hiro and Olfe.
