Meemin generally makes sleeker lasts. And so sizing the width is more important.

If you are willing to take the plunge (Which may be reckless) you could go an ask meermin for the physical sizing of the lasts and try to size up that way. But you may end up with 1-2 retries you will have to go through.

Do any other fine shoe makers exist in the AU? Get sized by them and then compare your sizing their to that here.

I just realized I totally misread your comment! Many apolgoies. Didn't realize at first read you were talking about Nike and Clark's being the blobby lasts. So sorry for the hasty riposte!

Hey,

want to buy a model of the shoe 10164 - LIGHT BROWN NATURCALF

http://meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=1967

and the one 101482 - COGNAC CALF

http://meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=4142

My foot is 25.5 cm. What size do you propose to me, gentlemen?

About six weeks for my suede captoes and two belts to ship out. Not too bad… I'll post pictures when they get here.

What last is this? I guess they are not available anymore.

Anybody have info about the "Ram" last? Similar to Carmina Simpson? (meaning, is Ram good for a low instep).

Thanks!

Theres a lot of comparisons of Loake of Meermins in this thread and theres plenty of Australian members who could also provide a comparison in the Aussie thread so I would start with those.  For what its worth im an 8 in the Loake Aldwych and Churchill and whilst I can just squeeze into a Hiro size 8, 8.5 is optimal.

Same thing with the Hiro last for me. I think I went up to a 8.5 and wear a 7.5 in the loake kempton chukka. Feels pretty comfortable now. Had the size 8 in Hiro before and it was horrible in my feet

Hmm, I'm a 10 in the Loake Aldwych and want to get a cap toe with the Hiro last. One of you went up half a size, the other a whole size. Not sure if I should go for a 10.5 or 11. Any advice?

So the pain is just from the back of the heel?
sounds like your shoes need breaking in, heel blisters are common with new shoes.

^ I have wide feet FWIW so I sized up 1 whole shoe size

Curious too, never knew there's a "Ram" last in the Meermin line.

FWIW: The Kempton mentioned by @gettoasty is made on Loake's 026 last, not Capital.

Additionally, either the 026 was once available in G, or Herring had the model made in G. If the shoe gettoasty talked about is indeed in G – which seems sensible given his wide feet – , going up one full size for the Hiro would make perfect sense, since people usually go down half a size from the Capital (F) to the 026 (G).

eh... what about a smaller size?

Looking to jump into a group MTO but need some sizing advice...

My current size:
G&G (all lasts): 5.5E
Carmina Rain: 5.5 --although abit tight at first, it stretches to conform. I'm pretty sure I'll hate the Simpson last.

Which last would best fit me: Hiro or Olfe? and in which size?

I'm assuming it'll be the same as my Carmina's: 5.5 but would it be any different if it were a Meermin boot?

Does any one know for MTO orders that have decorative nails in the sole (Usually initials)

Will they also do shapes?  Like:
