Meermin Mallorca Shoes - Page 555

Perhaps worth mentioning that at least to my understanding the Rain last is good for high instep feet and is thus not an optimal choice for a low instep.

I have a slightly wide foot and a high instep. I tried on both the rain and hiro lasts and found them to fit similarly. Rain is probably a tab bigger in the forefoot imo. Hiro fit perfectly.

I just put an order in for these shoes in 8.5UK...hoping I don't have any issues with the sizing.  I wear a 9.5 US in cole haan air adams cap toe.  Hoping these will fit...scary ordering in from another country without ever trying on the shoes.

+1  For  me, Rain fits perfectly but Hiro crimps my little toe. I suspect it may be the shape of the lasts rather than any difference in measurements.

Also, I thought that this might be helpful - Olfe on the left, Hiro on the right. Both size 8 UK. I can't promise that my feet are perfectly lined up, but it should give you an idea of their shape. I think I might prefer the Hiro, but both are very attractive.

Very nice. I was looking for the Classic Captoe in Burgundy. Don't see it on the website, but I guess, I can request it over email.

I think they're coming soon, but I agree that you could probably track them down via email.

Hi guys, do you have to pay for any import duty when order a Meermin and have it shipped from Spain to the US?

Got the Meermin split toe cordovans today. Fit very well (10E in Park Avenue, 9UK for the Meermin). The finishing/polishing (whatever you call it, I'm not a shoe guy) is alright, a little uneven. The construction seems solid. The only really minor issue I have is that the stitching at the split is a bit off center on one of them (maybe 10 degrees). Still, I'm pleased (would have been more pleased if I didn't have to pay an extra hundred in customs duties).

They are darker than they appear in the picture, as well as possessing richer color depth. I'm pleased on both counts.

wish someone had a picture of the swatches (each color, so we could see what all the options were, I can't tell from the side pic)
