I'm thinking of ordering one pair. Do the shoe trees come with the shoes or I have to order them separately?

rain = olfe. to me rain isnt very wide, i dont know why carmina lists it as an 'EE'. however lets go along with Carminas classification that Rain is wide(EE) and also that Simpson normal (E). if you can size down 1 whole size in simpson without discomfort than I would say you have a narrow foot in which case sizing down 1 in rain might result in a loose fit.

for what its worth

Rain - uk11 (just a hair wider than olfe. a hair)
Olfe - uk11
Simpson - uk11.5 (or uk11ee if it was offered)

Hi
Just recieved my pair of dark brown bluchers from the classic line, rui last. Out of the box the shoe looked ok. A bit light brown and some coloring misstakes, nothing some shoe polish could not fix. Then I tried the shoes on and found them tight height wise in the toe box, the upper part bruised my toes. The heel area also did not fit well, it slipped abit when walking, something that normally will give a terrible bruising.
I decided to go for a walk anyway. I felt that their would be some bruising but thought what the hell I most at least try them. After 1 km or so I had to call my wife and asked her to take a pair of shoes with her, the bruising on my heels was so bad I could barely walk.

Not so happy at the moment.

When I got home I checked the heel part of the shoe and found it very straight, therefor the shoe does not wrap around the heel properly for a good fit.

In the pic the bluchers are next to a pair of Cheaney's.

Everyday parlance in Glasgow Mimo. Albeit usually followed by extreme profanity

That picture of the flat heel cup looks like every pair of Aldens ever produced. I've always found it interesting how most American shoes are like that compared to English makers.

Is he insinuating that it's Meermin's fault that his ankle blistered after he decided to go for a long walk in poorly fitting, unbroken-in shoes?

can we please ban this person? Bad enough that I have to read his scathing account of a shoe not fitting exactly right. Do I also have to look at a picture of the injuries induced by his mental deficiencies?

Can we at least get him to join the balmoral shell MTO before we kick him out? Still need two more!

Is anyone able to approximate sizes in Olfe last using AE's 5 last? I wear a 10.5D in 5 lasted shoes. I was considering ordering a pair of polo shell boots from their sale but that MTO is sexy.
