Ozzy, I'm sure you have stated it somewhere in this thread, but I am lazy: who did you contact about your issues? Pepe? If so, I have his email.
I will contact Meermin about my missing toe cap, if only for the benefit of this thread as an experiment, to see what response and options I am given.
The right boot on my order was also missing a toe cap. I contacted Pepe about it and he gave me a couple options: (1) they will send the toe cap for me to have it installed by a local cobbler or (2) ship the boots back for them to install and then resend. I chose option 1. He was very apologetic about it, stating that it was unacceptable, and wanted to make it right. He did say they would cover all costs related to the error. Overall, I'm happy with the resolution. The shoes should never have been sent out, but it's not causing a huge inconvenience for me.
