What are these $ you refer to .... and why would it cost one hundred of them to ship a test shoe within the EU?

:D

ps because a test shoe can be much lighter it would be cheaper to post.
not so much of an investment if you intend to purchase multiple pairs eventually.

Mine arrived in, and left, Memphis today... hopefully they'll hit Maryland tomorrow and me on Tuesday! (Yes, I'm being incredibly optimistic...)

Mine are in London (via a grand European tour!) So maybe today, more likely tomorrow.
Someone in Singapore got theirs on Saturday! How does that even happen!?
They report no QC issues whatsoever!!

Did someone say boots!?

Couple of Meermin idiosyncrasies which I'll live with for now. (Off centre wing point on the darks, sloppy welting couple of other things that being hypercritical about) its sad that the first thing I did was look for flaws but I guess you reap what you sow.
Edit, unfortunately the dark boots are a bit of a mess really: poor sole trimming, visible welt stitches, again! A pull at the toe which may or may not develop into a tear. Hope the rest of you have better luck.

Damn, I hope they're not off centre on my dark boots. Flaws like that really bug me. I'm selling them if it's really bad. Anyone looking for a 10,5UK?

Damn!! You would think the MTO's would get better care. I wonder if it comes from them creating new designs, so they haven't mastered the style or maybe it's the rush to meet the schedule. Either way, this is my last MTO. I am supposed to be in on the Plu Museum. This will determine if I purchase them.

They've got an austerity brogue in their rtw range on the same last can't be hard to make sure the toecap is on straight. Unless you just don't give a shit. I'm more bothered by the soles pointing in a different direction to the uppers really

Didn't see the edit. Is there any way we can return MTOs?

So you're going to return yours?

Men,

I feel for you guys I really do. I made a sizing mistake on my Dark Brown Museum calf Hiro order but now my enthusiasm for this boot is evaporating.
