Has there been any discussion of a group MTO for something in dark green like this?

This is incredibly confusing. I just checked Meermin's sizing chart, and it seems to have changed. A couple weeks ago the sizing was conventional: each UK size was one number lower than US sizing. Isn't UK sizing just one number lower than US sizing? So why does 6.5 on Meermin's size chart now equate to size 9 US? This would mean that the size they gave me is indeed a US 9, being a 6.5 (this number written inside the loafer). However the loafers fit incredibly small, and the number on the box was an 8.
I was about to reply that "that's not the sizing chart I see on their website", but then I checked a different shoe...
It seems that you get different charts depending on which shoe you look at:
The normal one:
The "6,5=9" version:

That chart makes no sense at all! I think someone's been messing about with it!
there's clearly an error in the second sizing chart..... UK5=US6 - UK5.5=US8 - UK6=US7 - UK6.5 = US9 they've clearly broken something in writing/publishing that chart. The sizes are just completely inconsistent.
Good morning Sirs,
We hope you are doing well!
We are having some technical issues with our sizing charts, we are working to getting fixed as soon as possible.
Also we are working to improve the sizing charts in order to minimize the risk when picking the size.
Sorry if we have caused any inconvenience.
Thanks for your support & best regards,

I have a question regarding potential return but my post might be also useful as a report for quality of Meermins.
I have the shoes since about end of April (i.e.slightly more than 3 months) and wear them 2-3 times a week. I now noticed 2 serious issues that I see as a ground for returning them.
Both can be illustrated by photos and a video here:
1) The leather around my right ankle has gotten very soft, creating a unnatural space in that area. As a result, my right ankle is extremely loose when I walk which is very unconfortable. See the photos and the video above. I think this is dangerous, because my foot is not stable which can cause a sprained ankle.
I already wrote about this in a post here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/277707/meermin-mallorca-shoes/6120#post_6371241
2) The top straps (probably nylon) are falling apart on both shoes, especially on the right one. Again, you can see how the threads are damaged and starting to fall apart (see the link above for more illustrations).
I emailed my complaints to Luisa, who has offered me to repair them. I am sure that the nylon straps can be repaired but I am less convinced about the stretched leather around my right ankle. Plus I've already waited 3 months for the shoes in the first place, so I am not keen on waiting again... I would prefer to just get my money back.
Honestly, I think part of the issue is that the size. When ordering, I measured myself using Allend Edmonds sizing chart and obtained size 8 US. Based on that, Luisa proposed 7,5 UK, which might be half a size too big.
What do you think? I would appreciate your comments on this.

With regards to the shell tassels, they are available in black and burgundy.
@Prosper0: what catch my attention is that the problem of bowing is only in one shoe, right? I hate the converstion charts... I'm troubling with which size I should get.
@cbfn: Uhh those tassels in shell should be something really good. But I'm not sure if I should go for my first try with Meermin for a shell shoe at that price.
