On a brighter note, I am picking up my Museum MTO tonight.

Not a fan of double monks, but we'll see what options are thrown out for there for the plum museum.

Mine will be arriving tomorrow so I'm super excited icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

As far as plum museum goes I think austerity brogue would look great in fact Meermin already has austerity brogue in its lineup so I think the process would go much faster.

On the other hand who ordered Jodhpur boots from Merrmin. I know somebody from this forum did but I cannot remember who?

G, no what's not? Its not 14 weeks or its not OK?

L, it was Namor who ordered the Jod boots, then returned them!

Are you gonna be the first to get yours Gyasi!? Haven't even had shipping notice yet!! Grrrrrrrrrr.
I'm also relieved to find a fellow non monk fan. I was getting worried I was the only one!

The 14 weeks is long, but I was just kidding.

I will post pics, but they won't be high quality.

I know you were kidding. At least we get them for the intended season. I was a bit taken aback by the time tho, suppose it shows just how busy they are

I think they take a long nap in August.

Just got word from Pepe that he will try his hardest to ship out all the shoes by tomorrow;the poor chap has been super busy.

For those who received them, do post pictures biggrin.gif

You are dead wrong. They take long naps everyday and hibernate from July to August.

He'll send pictures of the sample boot when it's complete.

Thanks for the update. Phew, that's a long time, but I like knowing at least.

I heard my shoes were also just picked up by UPS, but I wasn't provided with a tracking number. I had requested that the black plastic things they place in the shoes be removed; as the last pair I had shipped in that manner had holes in the inside heel caused by them and for a lower value on the customs form, but Pepe said he couldn't accommodate those requests as UPS had picked up the shipment.

I expect them to arrive on Monday.

Feel the same about monks (more specifically double monks), but I'm sure there will be some solid options for the plum museum.  Having missed out on the museum calf MTO, I definitely won't be missing the next one.

I'd love to see a museum double monk. That would really be a rare and daringly elegant shoe.

Is there a plum museum calf (+ hatchgrain) MTO in the works?
