Thank you OJ for your reply.

On another note; can anyone with experience of the Olfe last give a brief description of how you perceive it?

Edit: On a third note; is toe iron installed in a regular purchase (if ordered) and not just in a MTO?

Anyone else interested in the 9 eye austerity brogue bal boot please let me know by pm including last (Olfe or New Rey) rubber or double leather sole and leather choice. Fine details still to be ironed out

I assume this is the StC boot people mentioned

I prefer the more classic approach.

Shame on you! When you selling them?
Nice rhyme BTW! Rey is on the table as the original member involved in this can only wear Rey. Size 13.5 Rey!!!! (Sorry Konda)

How would one define a narrow foot? (it's not a retorical question). Is there any part of the foot where NR is especially narrow?

In my experience really only in the toe box but it is quite low too so I found it tight across the vamp.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a sizing question. I am interested in some brown oxfords on the Olfe last.

I have a pair of AE Elgins in 8.5D. They fit ok, on the long side but slightly narrow for part of my toes. I measured the length of my foot to be 260mm long by 99mm wide. Which Meermin size would someone recommend? Judging by the size chart, a 7 might be too narrow (97mm) but too long (272mm), and the length only gets worse as you increase width.

Am i out of luck for this last?

Today would be the 30-day mark in the order of my double monks, but I received an email this morning saying that production has been delayed another 15 days. At least they updated me on that, but with shipping, I guess that will push my order time towards the higher-end of the 1-2 month estimate. I wish I could say I think about it less often, but that would be a lie. I'm still really looking forward to them.

Which double monks did you order? I'm around 1 month of a wait for the dark brown calf.

I went for the simple snuff suede ones from the classic line (to see how the sizing is on that last).

It's just a standard order with no custom options of any sort.

Just so you know, I haven't been asked for payment yet either.
