Sorry gyasih, but those look weird. How you intend to wear them, I have no idea

Very interesting to say the least.

Gyaish got some splanin to do or else you are going to be left wondering how he will wear his shoes; we wouldn't want that.

Other than on my feet...I explained in my earlier post. A better answer wll have to.wait until I have the final product. Oh, and may wear with denim.

Quad, is it the color combo?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Do they make short wingtips in suede leather?

I ordered a pair of dark brown suede chukka boots and brown CTB http://www.meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=1931 on the 15th of August. I have received the CTB and Meermin said they would ship the boots in approximately 30 days from that date but I'm yet to hear anything. I'm going to wait another 2 days then send a follow up email.

I think both are pretty cool/interesting. Kudos to you for having the sack to design and wear what you like.

Both my hiro captoe and olfe mto squak and lets down my perception of their quality frown.gif

My dub monks on hiro classic collection haven't squeaked. At about 25 wears now, majority of the recent ones out to bars and clubs, still in great shape

I will wear with trousers and whatever else looks good with them when I get them. If I wanted a plain Oundle, I would have gotten EG. I have enough traditional SF shoes.

Kev, I really like how yours are coming along. I see we may have our shoe completed at the same time.

Looks like they are on track to be finished same time, Pepe told me i'll get them next week. I'm liking what hes done with them and i'm pleased i went with the Ben last rather than the Olfe which he first suggested (he thought the austerity looks better on that last) i prefer the squarer last as it seems to be not such an aggressive square. Its all down to preference i suppose. We'll see how their finishing looks when we get them but i'm sure looking at other MTO's here its very good !! Yours i have to say look bloody good and kudos to you on the make up, i dont know if i'd have the balls to wear them but hey fook it they'll certainly turn heads !!!!!! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Digging the austerity. gyasih's, not so.

I like Gyasih's monks, but they're not exactly vanilla. Here are some in progress shots of my cordovan norwegians.

^ are those the dark brown shell? New rey last? You may have taken the last of it. I ordered a double monk boot but "settled" for burgundy shell

Look like New Rey, but look like the Cuero cordovan. (I'm starting to think it's more of a #4 colour these days than Whiskey/Ravello hybrid.)

Also, shall we take that to mean they are out of dark brown shell at the moment?
