Neutral polish and wax. Or just use a lighter brown than the rest of the shoe if you don't mind some patina.

Any thoughts on the most versatile smart casual shoes from Meermin? I'd like something on the Hiro last, from the classic collection. I am currently thinking about either Oxfords in chestnut or brown country calf, or blutchers in dark brown country calf.

I've got dark brown captoes, suede loafers and winter boots in my wardrobe, so I'm looking for something in the middle. Thanks for any suggestions.

If anyone is interested, I have a pair of the dark brown 101341 double monks in 11 that I wore once.  Too small for me, but hopefully a good fit for someone else here.

Maybe dark brown suede oxfords?

Good afternoon guys!

We hope you are doing great. We're happy to announce we've just introduced our new Italian Shell Cordovan!

Our first impression when we started working with it, is that we've found this Shells to be softer & more flexible (pretty similar to Horween's in terms of flexibility & tanning) than the Japanese one we're also using. While, on the other hand, we found the Japanese Shell finish more natural & very transparent showing the different & beautiful hues of the Shell, while the Italian version is more regular in tone, but when sun-lightened up shows all its beauty.

Different ways to produce the same incredible material & both great on its own way!

Currently we have a MTO Group open for a wingtip using this leather, find all the details HERE: ----> 101509 - Cigar Shell Cordovan

We're sure you'll love them!

All the best from Mallorca,

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Again great news Meermin. Does this new supplier mean that Shell offerings will become more frequent or will you stop using Shinki?

Glad you like them!

No, we won't stop using our Japanese Shell, just a way to offer a wider variety. Sadly, even we managed to source more Shell Cordovan, quantities, still very restricted!

Thanks again for your interest!

All the best,

Great shoes, unfortunately Hiro last does not fit me. I thought you guys were purchashing from both, japanese Shinki and argentinian Rocinante.  Is this time Comipel??.  They look really nice, congrats!!.

I don't think they have sourced from Rocinante for over a year now. Only Shinki.

Do you think Comipel match the description of small family owned?
